MULTNOMAH COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES

The only open door shelter in Portland. The primary agency responsible for lost pet care, animal abuse investigations and animal rescue in Multnomah County. Also offers dog and cat licensing, lost and found pet services, and animal adoptions through its shelter in Troutdale.
OREGON HUMANE SOCIETY

OHS is today the largest humane society (SPCA) in the Northwest. Investigates allegations of animal abuse and neglect with jurisdiction statewide. Offers low and no-cost spay and neuter services for low-income residents.
